Student, UC Berkeley Political Science Honors Thesis Program                            

Berkeley, CA · Fall 2019 – Spring 2020

  • Studied rural conservatism and secession through the State of Jefferson movement; applied a mixed-method qualitative research design featuring 30+ field interviews, 270 survey responses, and 190 analyzed newspaper articles; awarded highest honors for the completed project.

Lead Researcher, Berkeley Law Field Placement Program

  • Drafted successful grant application for an Instructional Improvement Grant from the Berkeley Center for Teaching & Learning; applied a mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research design to analyze 4 Berkeley Law seminars and compare their programmatic norms to other law schools and programs; produced a series of recommendations for lecturers on how to improve their courses.
